Commissions

A shared visual language.

A shared visual language.

Equine and human portraits conceived as unique works, not as simple photographs. Each commission begins with an encounter and develops through light, time, and a relationship with the subject.

The Commissioned Work

My commissioned work moves within the same aesthetic and conceptual territory as my personal practice: a restrained use of light, a strong sense of presence, and an approach that favors atmosphere over description.

Each commission is conceived as a collaboration, guided by a shared sensitivity rather than a predefined formula.

Approaches

Commissions can take different forms, while always maintaining the same visual language and authorial approach.

They may focus on:
  • the horse alone, as a subject in its own right
  • the human figure, approached with the same sculptural attention
  • or the space where presence, gesture, and silence meet
The direction of the work is defined together, starting from the subject, the context, and the intention behind the image.

What remains constant is the way the image is built: through light, subtraction, and careful composition.

The process

Each commission begins long before the shoot.

Preparation, research, and dialogue are essential parts of the work. The photographic session itself is deliberately focused and contained, leaving space for precision rather than accumulation.

The photographic session is not guided by poses or rigid timing, but by the moment itself.

Post-production is treated as an extension of the same process, shaping the final image without altering its integrity.
